In this article, we aim to analyze the evolution of labor conflict situations between 2023 and 2024. characterizing the types of conflict, forms of organization, underlying causes, sectors, branches of activity, and territorial scope of the actors involved. To this end, we constructed a database based on reports of conflicts published in digital newspapers from San Juan, combining web-scraping techniques with manual processing in each case. Starting from the hypothesis that the economic crisis altered the dynamics of conflict in the province-marked by the emergence of protests with greater autonomy and fragmentation-we identify significant differences across the two years under study. The forms of organization shifted, with grassroots movements among provincial teachers emerging and dissolving, while union leaderships underwent transformations. At the same time, longstanding drivers of conflict, such as demands for wage increases and their predominantly local character, persisted, with the transportation sector standing out in the private sphere and education in the public sector.
