Economía Política (y católica) en la enseñanza jurídica cordobesa: Traducción del liberalismo en la Universidad de Córdoba en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX

Abstract

El artículo analiza la enseñanza de la Economía Política en la Universidad de Córdoba en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX, considerando las posibilidades de lectura de las novedades y el influjo de la tradición, el perfil intelectual y cultural de sus profesores, los textos señalados para la enseñanza y los programas de la cátedra. Su propósito es relacionar la información del archivo y la labor historiográfica, con un marco teórico alejado de la idea de novedad inaugural al tratar estas lecciones, más vinculado con la relectura, localización e intereses de las élites jurídicas.The article analyzes the teaching of Political Economy at the University of Córdoba in the second half of the 19th century, considering the possibilities of reading the novelties and the influence of tradition; the intellectual and cultural profile of their teachers; the texts designated for teaching, with special emphasis on the editions used; and the programs of the chair. Its purpose is to relate the information from the archive and the historiographical work with a theoretical framework far from the idea of inaugural novelty when dealing with these lessons, more linked to the rereading, location and interests of legal elites.
