The deformations that correspond to the position of the Quaternary fault front, associated with reverse movement faults dipping to the East in the Sierras Pampeanas of Córdoba and San Luis, are recognized as escarpments located in the piedmont environment and to a lesser extent in the surrounding plain. Eastward of the southern foothills of the Comechingones mountain range, between 33°- 33°25'S and 64°20`-65°W, there is a zone of faults with proven and possible quaternary activity, such as Las Lagunas, Las Rosas, and Santa Catalina. The aim of this contribution is to present the first neotectonic, morpho-hydrological, and geophysical evidence associated with the Las Rosas fault to confirm its Quaternary tectonic activity, its structural characterization, and a more accurate location of the trace. The applied methodology consisted of neotectonic, paleoseismological, structural, geomorphological, hydrogeological and geophysical surveys and analyses. The ductile and brittle structures recognized in sediments of Pleistocene and Holocene age, along with the morpho-hydrological characteristics of the streams in the study area, among other evidences, have allowed to interpret a reverse displacement for the Las Rosas fault with dip to the Southeast and associated Quaternary activity in at least two of its sections. In addition, we defined four sections named Boca del Tigre, Las Vertientes, La Lagunilla, and La Antonia for this fault, with a total length of approximately 51 km and a strike of 040°-045°.
