In this contribution it is given to know the epilithic phycoflora of Arroyo Mista (Dpto. Leales), for which physicochemical and biological samples were collected during an annual cycle. The water was alkaline, oxigenated and sodium-chlorinated-sulfated type, with high values of electrical conductivity. A total of 112 taxa of which corresponded to the class Bacillariophyceae (83), Division Cyanophyta (17), Chlorophyta (8), Euglenophyta (2) and Rhodophyta (2). Of the total number of taxa registered 11 are cited for the first time for the Province of Tucuman, belonging to diatoms. Thereby increasing taxonomic knowledge of the regional phycoflora.
