This article deals with households residing in the rural area of General Belgrano (Province of Misiones) that migrate temporarily to work in the harvest phase of the forest industry in northeastern Entre Ríos. Firstly, we will characterize two types of households: migrant agricultural households and predominantly migrant households. Secondly, we will analyse the incidence of labour migration on both types of households as well as the main features of migration in each case. The qualitative research included semi-structured interviews with migrant workers (carried out in the forest camps they live in during the harvest) and with their relatives (carried out in their households in their hometown).
