The pandemic unleashed by coronavirus (COVID-19), led to an unprecedented crisis in all areas and geographies. In the field of education, this event has led to the massive closure of face-to-face activities of educational institutions in more than 190 countries in order to prevent the spread of the virus and mitigate its impact. In the province of Santiago del Estero, there were heterogeneous situations to support education in the context of the closure of educational establishments, preventive and compulsory social isolation (ASPO, hereinafter). Therefore, the objective of the manuscript is linked to knowing and making visible the way in which the support of the teaching processes was carried out in a non-face-to-face/virtual way during the ASPO, and how they affected the various aspects related to the working conditions of the educational community, pedagogical aspects, teaching materials and tools in the virtual classroom of the entire community. Finally, the results from the socio-educational survey carried out at the Instituto de Enseñanza Media San Jorge (IESJ), in the capital of Santiago del Estero, provide a situated contribution to the educational reality experienced throughout the pandemic during the year. 2020.
