The aim of this research is to analyze the transformations and continuities in the organization of care that the pandemic brought about. The article addresses the action and care management strategies carried out by health workers, incorporating monetary management and access to care preconditions as significant dimensions for its analysis. The methodology adopted was qualitative, favoring semi-structured interviews. We worked on a total of 20 interviews carried out between the months of May and October 2021 with health workers from the metropolitan area of Buenos Aires (AMBA) and Greater La Plata who worked and executed care activities during the pandemic. The results of this research allow us to maintain that the overload of productive work among health workers was not accompanied by the redistribution of domestic and care work, despite the fact that the men in the family nucleus spent more time than them in the homes. This situation was not even reversed when they were the only or main providers within the home.
