The text presents a double entry hypothesis. First, the unprecedented brutality of the dictatorship and the consequent defeat/failure of the revolutionary projects installed a deep ideological crisis. This crisis took the intellectual doing a revision and a self-criticism. And secondly, this revision favored a new socialist thought. But this time it was a thought closer than the democratic system and the human rights paradigm.
