Museo de la Novela de la Eterna (1967) becomes a novel that has an intense conversation with issues brought into the light by psychoanalysis. Hence, in 1975, a key critic about that corpus titled Macedonio Fernández is published. La escritura en objeto (1975), by Germán García. The aforementioned book shows an inventive reading from Freud and Lacan about Macedonio´s writing. Here, in dialogue with texts such as those previously quoted, I review some issues. First, the question of the primacy of letter at the level of enunciation/statement, also manifested in the inorganic of writing -that is simultaneously a metaphor of the unconscious. The Macedonio Fernández masterpiece does not only exhibit an inorganic mimesis, but also an inorganic writing. Secondly, because the subject that enunciates, as the enunciator, are built during the same textual and reading process; as well as the figures of novel characters. And thirdly, due to the ways in which Museo de la Novela de la Eterna articulates, links and redefines psychological, philosophical and aesthetic knowledge that the novel surface convenes and puts into play. In this framework, I underline the question of the subject in this poetic.
