Between 1965 and 1970 the first rockers in Buenos Aires set out a new way of presenting their musical compositions in public. During these years, their live performances took different forms with regard to the characteristics of the mise en scène and the place where these presentations took place. Sidewalks, bars, basements, social associations, cinemas, theaters and sports arenas, each offered a different way of making public their musical productions. Moreover, these changing formats not only conditioned the characteristics of the staging, but also the relationship between the audience and the artists and even, the interactions between the members of the public.
