The following pages aim to celebrate the 20th aniversary of the subject Renaissance European Literature. In one hand, this paper is going to discuss multiple events and occurrances connected to the research and teaching of several Renaissance authors’ works, which would become a new canon for the instruction of the Studia Humanitatis in the Literature and Linguistics course at the University of Buenos Aires. On the other hand, and for that purpose, I particularly focus on the Florentine humanist, Poggio Bracciolini, whose introductory and dedicatory Letter to his Epistolae I have translated for the first time.
