This paper investigates the presence of the standards for critical thinking in a diagnostic test involving the CONFEDI competences, which was developed and applied at Facultad de Ciencias Exactas y Naturales, Universidad Nacional de Cuyo (FCEN-UNCUYO). The present work indicates that such a test makes it possible to evaluate the development of critical thinking in the aspirants to enter careers in the field of Basic Sciences at FCEN-UNCUYO.
