Wondering about the possibilities for decolonial research, we come to think on the aptitude of research methodology for such a task. Moreover, the need for decolonizing methodology itself comes to the fore. In this text I aim adding to the methodological refl ection within a decolonial turn, which I fi nd seriously scarce. Departing from the idea of the former vestigial immediacy –afterwards lost within modern research– and linking it with both the caesura and rupture operated by modern colonial reason, I provide a no-methodological framework that displaces research from objectifi - cation towards situatedness. No-methodology adopts the form of an undisciplined archaeology, an amplifi ed conversation on the immediacy of timespaces already discontinued within coloniality. Centering tactics in conversation, I relate this with the research situation, writing and the move of home address towards the country of the barbarians.
