This paper presents a training experience developed in the Master’s in Business Administration at the Universidad Nacional de Rafaela (UNRaf). We believe that the experience contributes to the resolution of a typical problem of many master’s programs in Argentina and in other countries: many of the students pass the courses, but do not finish their theses. This creates a significant gap between the number of students who enter a program and those who graduate. This gap is more acute in some fields, such as business administration. Solving this problem is relevant for the students themselves and their families and the administrators of these programs. In the case of this type of programs, which are oriented to improve the training of managers of organizations, not completing the theses deprives the local community of practical knowledge and capabilities. The experience contributes to more students completing their thesis work within a reasonable time. The main characteristics—and contributions—of the experience that we are going to present are: the early start of the workshops; Its practical, hands-on nature; the personalized monitoring of each student by the teaching team; and the emphasis on the collective construction of projects. In the following pages we will present: the background of this training experience, its central characteristics (components, structure, dynamics and bibliography) and the main lessons learned. In closing we will make some reflections on future perspectives.
