Based on the economic-social trends that shape platform capitalism (Palermo et al, 2020; Srnicek, 2018; Zukerfeld, 2020), this article takes an empirical approach to the labour process of delivery platforms operating in the city of Buenos Aires. Its general objective is to show how the companies Rappi and Pedidos Ya capture certain behaviors, skills, abilities, and lifetimes common to the workforce involved. To this end, the paper reconstructs a theoretical framework that points to the importance of the common in the contemporary labour sphere and that guided qualitative sociological research on the representations of the aforementioned workers, carried out during and after the covid-19 pandemic, which show the existence of multiple human knowledges put into operation during the making of this productive process.
