This article proposes to put in tension two central categories of the geographical approach: landscape and heritage. Taking as an empirical reference the city of Luján, the central Marian hieropolis in Argentina, we explore the uses and appropriations of these religious landscapes and the heritage, based on very dissimilar spatial practices that are not (necessarily) religious, and that configure multiple overlapping landscapes. In this sense, the concept of lived heritage allows to make the analysis more complex and to make visible hidden landscapes, possible to be noticed from the practices and experiences of the subjects in these places. This geographical research is based on qualitative methodologies with fieldwork, analysis of visual material and journalistic sources, and interviews to spatialized subjects.
