The present article puts forward two opposed contemporary interpretations of Hegel´s dialectics. After a short introduction (1), it exposes Heidegger´s “Hermeneutics of Facticity” (2), which determined new ways of understanding Hegel´s thought. It then discusses Gadamer´s (3) and Apel´s (4) interpretations, suggesting that certain topics regarding dialectics are still open to discussion (5).
