We estimated the willingness to pay (WTP) for the SoyGREEN soy bioinput among agricultural producers in the province of Córdoba using the contingent valuation method with double dichotomous choice. This bioinput offers productive benefits, such as an increase of up to 14% in soybean yield, as well as environmental benefits, such as reducing nitrous oxide (N₂O) emissions by 60%. N₂O is one of the main greenhouse gases associated with extensive agriculture. The econometric analysis revealed that age negatively impacts the probability of acceptance, while the amount offered had the expected impact. The estimated average WTP was USD 2.41/ha. Added to the base cost of USD 3.5/ha for conventional bioinputs, this yields a total value of USD 5.91/ha. This result is consistent with previous international studies. These results confirm that producers assign explicit economic value to environmental benefits that the market does not yet recognize. This finding opens opportunities for internalizing these values in prices and public policies. In this sense, the analyzed bioinput has high scalability potential due to its contributions to GHG mitigation and its ability to generate "win-win" strategies that integrate sustainability and profitability in the agricultural sector.
