The purpose of this paper is to promote the knowledge of those texts marginal to the anti-rosist cannon such as Santa y mártir de 20 años (1857), written by Carlos L. Paz, and Un crimen más (1859), whose author is Angel Julio Blanco, writers ignored by the XIXth Century´s histories of Argentinian Literature, and part of a new literary development that started its activities after Rosas´overthrow. We intent to explore the ideological imprint of the new political context emerged during the liberal transition (1852-1865), particularly in the setting of a historical fiction about the latest past, in its moralizing message -requested by the genre-, bounded to recompose social attachment, as a contribution, from the Literature sphere, to the building of a nation.
