This article analyzes female teacher’s experiences in hospital and domiciliary ambit. In order to approach this case and arrive at some provisional conclusions about the imbricate work of women, provisions of the National Council of Education during 20th century are examined. The documental sources involve records and trace of the past that reveal, from the history of/with women and education history perspective, asymmetries and gender marks made evident in the beginning of the hospital and home education: when female teachers started to claim vindication in those spaces.
