The aim of this article is to decentralize gazes and studies concerning care, as an effort to propose a wider research and public policy agenda. This reflection becomes urgent in the framework of the health crisis caused by COVID-19. Consequently, and to this end, on the one hand, we reviewed significant developments and discussions around care. On the other hand, we point out a three-sides-off-centered-approach to encourage the changes we propose towards care research, challenging the usual care a) subjects; b) spatialities; c) ontologies. This paper draws on insights from our individual ethnographies as well as other sources in the context of the pandemic. Finally, it should be noted that, based on the anthropological approach, we seek to encourage a dislocation on care that defines it as self-evident, with the aim of contributing to a reconfiguration of the agendas in this matter.
