Coastal zones are very complex areas known as coastal systems. More than half of the world's population lives in coastal areas. In the wetlands that make up the Bahía Blanca estuary, it is possible to differentiate environments with their own characteristics; one of them is Villa del Mar which presents a geomorphology not studied so far and very fragile from the environmental point of view. The objective of this work is to identify and characterize the dynamics of the coastal zone of the Villa del Mar estuary area. It is also intended to carry out an analysis of its dynamics of the geoforms and evolution of the estuary. Three campaigns were carried out on March 21, March 26 and April 6, 2019. At each stop, control points were taken with GPS, determining observation areas and identifying the classified areas in the satellite image. The mapped geoforms were identified and the characteristics of each one were surveyed. The information obtained through the field trip and the consultation of specialists in the area was validated. It was found that Villa del Mar, in the Bahía Blanca estuary, has the presence of important geological relics, which make up a particular geomorphology. Some of these are rocky beaches, strands of shells semi-parallel to the coasts or salt marshes.
