Argentina in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries was in full economic and demographic growth; the province of Entre Ríos on the Argentine river coast and Paraná as its capital were not oblivious to this development, which manifested in a few cultural aspects of everyday life. The purpose of this article is to analyze the sociability in the arts field in Paraná at the time of the reopening of the Teatro 3 de Febrero in 1908, during a period of considerable prosperity. This paper offers a new approach among the studies of this Theater, as it takes into account a broader perspective about the artistic life of the city and the different spaces of recreation and education that Paraná had at that time, showing how often they were closely linked to each other. In order to carry out this research, the information found in various local newspapers of the time has been investigated to a large extent.
