Un marxismo para la Edad Media

Abstract

La Edad Media ha sido un objeto marginal dentro de las reflexiones del marxismo. Sin embargo, existe una vasta producción de medievalistas que se inscriben en esta corriente. Los estudios que asumen esta perspectiva teórica y política no solo han profundizado el conocimiento de las sociedades feudales sino que pueden ser un aporte de interés en los debates actuales. En esta colaboración se presentarán tanto los aspectos en los cuales el marxismo ha realizado contribuciones significativas como aquellos que configuran una agenda pendiente.The Middle Ages has been a marginal object within the reflections of Marxism. However, there is a vast production of medievalists who are part of this current. Studies that take this theoretical and political perspective have not only deepened the knowledge of feudal societies, but can also be an interesting contribution in current debates. This article will present both the aspects in which Marxism has made significant contributions and those that configure a pending agenda.
