This work aims to analyze an aspect of the current culture in which law and literature studies participate. Characterized by their profuse productions, in the most varied areas, literary legal analyses are affected by changes in the events of modern societies. The great changes in the disposition of time, the administration of discourses, the exponential growth of information, the massive publication of legal and literary texts, and the institutional demands, mean that knowledge must reconfigure its analysis instances. However, this does not necessarily imply a change in their postulates, but rather a thoughtful reflection on the field in which they propose their analyses. In this order of ideas, firstly, preliminary considerations on “law & literature” studies are introduced, a recognition of the course that delineates the space. Secondly, the state of the “law-literature” binomial is studied about the changes in current culture. These considerations are combined with a third instance of study, where specific areas (writing, text) are analyzed to identify how they have been affected by modern culture and their possible implications in the reconfiguration of the literary culture of the right. Finally, in conclusion, considerations are outlined that aim to recognize the humanistic aspect of disciplinary intersections to restore, in the face of the concerns of modern societies, the poetic character of studies on law and literature.
