This article studies the question of queer issues in the group Sur looking at translations, editions and interventions in the Argentine cultural field. The figure of Enrique Pezzoni, as translator and active member of the group in its final period works as an emblem due to his duties as editor. By taking the body as a key concept to look into the literary and cultural worlds I propose to analyze the specific meanings of the term "queer" in the Latin American context.
