This work falls within the research that we have developed as part of our doctoral thesis. On this occasion we focus on the importance that the mapuce women have developed along certain conflicts in defense of their territory, autonomy and identity. For years, Neuquén province has become the scene of numerous political struggles that show the importance and value of the common goods found there. The “Kvme Felen” vigorously bursts in this context, understood as a mapuce autonomous life system. Therefore, based on data obtained during our fieldwork and on information gathered through theoretical research, we intend to know the role and participation of women in the Kvme Felen within a context characterized by a high level of social conflicts and criminalization of the indigenous protest.
