The emerging field of Critical Epistemologies, basically sustained by the strands of decolonial thought, has formulated as a liberationary project the dialogue between different gnoseological traditions, that have as main characters – in the case of Latin America – the indigenous voices and senses. Neverthless, these research proposals, solid and powerful in theoretical terms, has recently reclaimed a thorough revision of its methodological achievements, in pursuit of guaranteeing – initially – the representational strategies – by which it would be possible to effectively carry them out. Thus, from different areas of inquiry, the "performance" has been proposed as an alternative construction able to subvert those criticized semio-epistemological patterns. However, and as it is argued in this paper, there is a limitation in the sense (inevitably anthropocentric) of this notion, which can be transcended by recovering elements, from another time, which proposes non-representational knowledge, expressed in the scenic web of life.
