Resumen
The dataset includes three tables containing chromatographic features of oxytetracycline transformation products and their relative abundances measured after area quantitation of extracted ion chromatograms from the analysis of water and sediment samples by HPLC-MSn with a linear ion trap.
Métodos
Water/sediment biodegradation tests were run in two batch series of reactors containing oxytetracycline (biotic conditions in duplicate) and blanks. Samples of both water and sediment were withdrawn during a 45-day period, employing each reactor for no more than one sampling time. Samples were analysed by HPLC-MSn with a Dionex Ultimate 3000 RS LC chromatograph (Thermo Scientific) coupled to a linear ion trap mass spectrometer with an electrospray ionization source (Thermo LTQ XL). Detection was achieved in positive-ion mode with a scan range from m/z 50 to 1000. Data acquisition and processing were performed using Xcalibur software (version 4.0.27.19, Thermo Scientific).
