The work is centered upon En el país del silencio by Jesus Urzasgati (1941-2013), a writer from Chaco, departing from the hypothesis that the complexity of its structure reflects the conflicts Bolivia is going through at the beginnings of the 80s. The dismemberment figure (division in books; the use of narrators; characters building, among others) is used so as to evidence the different elements composing it, which are marked by the social traumas having effects on subjectivities. It is a fragmented novel, pierced by the dissolution and pursue of deep truth which enables it to explain the current country’s situation. At the same time, Tupac Katari’s resignifyed figure during the 70s with the emergence of “kataristas” movement, raises as a symbol of breakage and heterogeneity.
