This article aims to analyze the processes of appropriation of space in a Peruvian gastronomy street fair in Córdoba between 2018 and 2020, held in Isla de los Patos. This is ethnographic research, which places the focus on the fairgoers to address the articulation between the productive and the reproductive. For one sector, the fair is presented, at the same time, as a possibility for work and consumption and as a place for recreation and meeting. The confluence of different uses of the space, which exceed the lucrative logic but are associated with it, opens questions about the possible relationships between public space, fair work, everyday goods, and the right to the city.
