In a context of technological acceleration and demographic aging, this study analyzed older people in Greater Buenos Aires using a mixed design (questionnaire and interviews). It investigated the relationship between technological use, educational level, work experience, and residential environment. The findings reveal an intermediate user profile, where education and previous work experience facilitate appropriation. Cognitive and sensory factors also shape the gap, and although the support of ‘warm experts’ is vital, it is not enough to eliminate it. Age is not a barrier to learning, and it is the responsibility of governments to ensure digital inclusion.
