This article seeks to reflect on the uses (and abuses) of the concept of hybridization in post-pandemic education. To do so, we use conceptual debates that are reconstructed from a conceptual history and approach the present from discussions about current education. We seek to analyze the potential and scope of the term for the understanding of the school culture(s) that are configured after the pandemic, understanding them in a dynamic way. Methodologically, we resort to a combination of approaches that allow us to approach the study of hybridity from an epistemological and didactic analysis that crosses history and educational sciences. In this way, a project study of the concept is carried out that opens up the possibility of dialogue based on historical documentation and then advances in the representations of various teachers interviewed about their own practices after the pandemic. It is a study that presents dialogues and discussions in the present tense with the consent of a past that is both constitutive and constituent.
