La influencia de la obra de Freud en la interpretación ricoeuriana de la huella

Abstract

Ricoeur realizó una importante modificación en su concepción de la historia en La memoria, la historia, el olvido respecto de la de Tiempo y narración. En lugar de apoyarla en la huella, la fundaba en la memoria. En el presente artículo comenzaremos poniendo de manifiesto el modo en que este cambio incidió en la concepción ricoeuriana de la historia. Seguidamente señalaremos que estas modificaciones no fueron el resultado del giro memorial sucedido por aquel entonces sino el resultado de un largo proceso. Éste incluye la convergencia entre la historia y el psicoanálisis, en basar la deuda del historiador para con el pasado en el testimonio de quienes lo vivieron en lugar de en las huellas.Ricoeur made an important modification in his conception of history in History, Memory, Forgetting with respect to that of Time and Narrative. Instead of basing it on traces, it was founded on memory. In this article, we will begin by showing how this change have affected Ricoeur's concept of history. Next, we will point out that these modifications were not the product of the memorial turn that occurred at that time, but the result of a long process. This included the convergence be tween history and psychoanalysis and stop basing the historian's debt to the past on the trace but on the testimony of the deaths.
