Population aging and the technological revolution pose a new challenge: the digital inclusion of the elderly. From there, the question arises about how senior citizens face these technological transformations. The objective of this paper is to analyze old people's perception of the use of technologies, and the support they receive for their technological appropriation. A mixed design was implemented, combining a questionnaire (N=197), 16 interviews with older people, and 7 interviews with trainers. Among ICT users, intermediate users are the most frequent. Despite the predominance of a positive perception among the elderly about the support they have received, a digital divide persists. A warm, “ideal” training expert uses simple language, is patient and empathic, and promotes continuous practice. Tensions over knowledge, power dynamics, and age differences are observed among young people (teachers) and old people (apprentices).
