The study of organizational environment has usually been focused through quantitative approaches, with the purpose of measuring the participants’ perceptions associated with the main variables of the theoretical construct. Even though some of them have suggested complementing the analysis by using a qualitative approach, the interpretation of the data has taken into account almost exclusively the content of the discourse. This article aims to identify differences in the linguistic representation of organizational environment’s dimensions from the perspective of those who work as part of the administrative staff. We will try to analyze the formation of social groups and the discursive variables that influence their formation, by focusing in one dimension: interpersonal relationships. This will let to comprehend the way in which members of the administrative staff conceptualize themselves in the workplace and interact with each other. We will analyze the way by which certain personal characteristics may affect membership to a group and limit their access to others. Finally, we will explore the dynamic of conflicts developed between the mentioned groups.
