Gender violence carries invisibilization and naturalization elements that are usually recognized in the domestic sphere. However, the study of the relationships generated by assuming as normal the supremacy of one gender over the other allow to go beyond the realm of family ties and open multiple enriching perspectives. Among them are those of the theorical research developed by ecofeminism, which address inequality based on the construction of the phallocentric economic system, and make a critical analysis of the relationship of economics and the environment. The present article explores a type of violence common in the Patagonian steppe that can be identified from the perspective of the economic practices and its instrumental ties with the environment. This approach finds its legitimation on the silenced coercion of this exercise and is based on the interpretation of the geography. That is, feminine and feminized practices should fight for recognition nowadays from the basis of the construction and interpetation of the geographycal landscape. We theorize about a unique experience of community organization for an associative way of production and marketing, which interpelates local and regional historical sociopolitical systems of management and development as well as current ones.
