The Energy Sector plays a main role in Climate Change Issue. Both in the origin of the problem and also in the key role that it can play in the actions that seek to address Climate Change. The drivers of Energy Consumption are diverse and present a behavior that can make that the solutions sought are not achieved as quickly as it would be expected and as it would be necessary. However, the greatest potential for mitigation is in the Energy Sector and it is necessary to make these efforts to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement of limiting temperature increases below 2° C compared to the levels prior to the beginning of the Industrial Era.
