Bullying is a risk factor for mental health of children and adolescents. Despite its scientific relevance, few empirical studies exist in Argentina. To this end, the Revised Olweus Bully/Victim Questionnaire -one of the most used in the first world nations- and a demographic questionnaire were administered to a convenience sample of 1.151 adolescents (46% male; mean age = 14.6) of four high schools in the city of Paraná, Entre Ríos. It was found that more men were aggressors and aggressors-victims; younger students were harassed more frequently; the most common forms of harassment were name-calling, teasing about physical appearance and telling lies. Most were harassed by a student or a group of two and/or three males, of the same year; on the patio or in the classroom as the most common sites; on average for a month, and more than a half did not comment with anyone that they had been bullied –a friend was preferred for those who commented this fact. In the conclusions, the findings are discussed and suggestions for future studies are provided.
