In the following article we will briefly present the questions and objectives that guide the collective research projects under our direction at the I.A.P.C.S and the CConFInES, as well as the advances in the methodological strategy, the fieldwork of the last months and the first provisional results of their analysis. We will first review the main background information in the specialised bibliography, then introduce our research questions and objectives, and explain the methodological innovation with which we intend to inscribe ourselves in the open debate on contemporary political‐ ideological dynamics in majority sectors of the citizenry, focusing on the case of Cordoba. Finally, we will focus particularly on the open debates on a central dimension of our research problem, namely the expansion of frustration and a negative perception of politics in different political audiences. We will do so by relating it to the specialised literature on the ‘re‐enchantment’ of politics (Arditi, 2009), in order to contrast the ‘dis‐enchantment’ registered at present (Semán, 2023).
