This article develops the analysis of a case in which, in a presumably marginal place, poetic language tracts a life story and builds a plausible dialogue that is not so viable from the narrative genre. We will consider a section of the novel Aurelia quiere oír [Aurelia wants to hear], by María Rosa Iglesias, which constitutes an example of the assignment of an edge location to poetry in plots of literaturization of uprooting, but which is also an indicator that, in the face of limits of penetration in feelings of loss, uneasiness and lack of anchorage (territorial and expressive), poetry contributes with a viability of manifestation and verbal devices to build bridges more difficult to obtain by other means.
