Since the early years of this century the social situation of some Argentinean provinces showed like one of their feature the proliferation of productive “micro” enterprises formed between unemployed or precarious people, whose aims and objectives are framed within the purposes of the social economy. However, despite these modalities of self-employment are a distinctive feature of Argentina’s social reality, many of the provincial jurisdictions still haven’t a specific and comprehensive regulation that promotes a better coordination of these social economy initiatives within the economic and commercial structures. So, this contribution aims to provide a series of reflections that contributes to the improvement of specific knowledge concerning the regulatory framework of the social and solidarity economy micro-enterprises in the provincial legal order. For this purpose, the paper analyzes the different aspects involved in the conceptual characterization of social and solidarity micro-enterprises in the framework of an eventual legal regime of these figures.
