This article analyses how the literary saga of Harry Potter (HP) can be understood as a "training novel" in itself, but fundamentally from the perspective of its readers and based on the meanings that the story acquires for them. The findings shared here arise from a recently concluded doctoral research in which the attachment that young people establish with literature was analyzed, and in which framework the reference to HP revealed central. The methodological strategy deployed is qualitative, troughing-depth interviews. Firstly, the place of this saga within youth literature is presented in a context of crisis and concentration of the publishing industry. Then, the conceptual framework in which this work is framed is stated, and where the concepts of link and Reading path are central. Finally, testimonies are collected to show HP's centrality for readers who grew up with this story.
