Ricardo Zelarayán's poetic writing comprises the rhythms of a narrativity whose sources are minimal, situational stories. Its motifs are life itself, elapsed between impressions of a journey on a train (“The Great Saline”), love (“Fifteen Minutes Later”), and violence (“Daydream”); motifs where language inscribes the patterns of an orality that overtly reveals its artificial character: the speech of migrants from the provinces, the littoral area, and the city of Buenos Aires.
