Cambio estructural y desarrollo en Entre Ríos

Abstract

En el presente artículo exploramos los patrones de cambio estructural en Entre Ríos, considerando dos dimensiones: a) las transformaciones intersectoriales acaecidas en la provincia siguiendo el patrón clásico de cambio estructural en el período 1980-2010; y, b) los avances en la incidencia de las actividades de mayor complejidad tecnológica en la estructura del empleo en el lapso 1996-2022. El objetivo es aportar al conocimiento de los problemas de crecimiento que ha enfrentado Entre Ríos en las últimas décadas, en particular vinculado con la existencia (o no) de un proceso de cambio estructural virtuoso en los términos de la Comisión Económica para América Latina (CEPAL). Se trata de una investigación exploratoria, cuantitativa, comparativa con el conjunto del país y el resto de la región centro (Córdoba y Santa Fe), basada en fuentes bibliográficas, datos censales y en la información del Observatorio de Empleo y Dinámica Empresarial (OEDE).In this text we seek to explore the patterns of structural change in Entre Ríos, considering two aspects: the intersectoral changes that have occurred in this province in the period 1980-2010 and the advances in the weight of activities of greater technical complexity in the employment structure for the period 1996-2022. The aim is to contribute to the knowledge of the growth problem that Entre Ríos has suffered, especially linked to the existence (or not) of a virtuous process of structural change as defined by the Economic Commission for Latin America (ECLAC). This is an exploratory, quantitative, comparative research with the entire country and the rest of the central region, supported by bibliographic, census data and information from the Employment and Business Dynamics Observatory (EBDO).
