Through an exegetical-critical study we deal with three dimensions of Frantz Fanon's work Black Skin, White Masks (1952): colonial alienation, the body and the skin. We are interested in analyzing the ways in which these three problems are interspersed in the analysis of colonial depersonalization proposed by Fanon. From this, we outline the philosophical proposal of the author's liberating existentialism in which the body and the epidermis stand out as tangential knots of the lived experience, both in its phenomenological and prospective key. In this search, the lived experience narrated by Fanon leans towards transforming the petrification of the body and concentrating on the metamorphosis of the ethical paralysis founded by modern racism.
