This paper addresses the first collection of poems by Beatriz Vallejos, Alborada del canto (1945), usually left aside, even by herself. This changed when Iván Rosado Editora, from Rosario, fortunately reissued it in 2014. In the same line as "Beba´s" work retrieval one can find the reissue of her Obra reunida, in 2013, by the Municipality of Rosario and the National University of the Litoral. Indirectly scorned, Alborada ... nevertheless allows us to discover concretely some of Vallejos's insertions in the literary system of her time. We approach this text to find in it the characteristic features, some of which are left behind, and many others already foreshadow what will be her later universe of synthesis, both verbal and visual - hence, partly, her kinship with haiku- Since, incipiently, we also approached her work as a lacquer, especially as both codes -for which interdisciplinarity is essential- are structured on the exaltation of light, first, and of water later, to build the poetics of lightness and the ungraspable.
