Although Tornetti's book was quoted by some authors, it seems that they did not consult it because they would have mentioned some of the information contained in it. It is our intention to make known this work that we enclose, translated into Spanish, published in Italy in 1711. Beforehand, we have analyzed the motives and the context in which it was written by a long-lived parish priest, a fellow citizen of the biographer, in difficult times for Italy in the 18th century. From there, we briefly analyze the development of the biographical genre among the Jesuits of Paraguay, as well as a biobibliography of Father Antonio Ripari, and then address the central aspects, that is the author, the dedication, the printer and above all the content of the text. A Jesuit protagonist who became a paradigm of a time and an example for young people, giving his life for the profound conviction of his Christian faith.
