El sistema social como sistema comunicativamente autopoiético

Abstract

En el presente trabajo abordamos el concepto de sistema social elaborado por la Teoría General de Sistemas Sociales (TGSS) de Niklas Luhmann. Proponemos precisar su especificidad mediante una comparación con otras concepciones de sistema social vigentes en la tradición sistémica de la sociología. El objetivo del trabajo es deslindar la originalidad de la posición sistémica del autor a través de dicha reconstrucción. Este deslindamiento permitirá, primero, precisar la postura luhmanniana y evitar confundirla con aquellas posiciones sistémicas de las que el autor se diferenció; y segundo, establecer su contribución desde un programa sistémico al problema general de la unidad de análisis de la disciplina.: In this paper, we present the concept of social system developed by Niklas Luhmann´s General Social Systems Theory (GSST). We define its specificity through a comparison with other concepts in the social system established in the sociological systemic tradition. The objective of this work is determining the originality of the systemic position of the author through the reconstruction. Thanks this mark-off, first, we clarify the Luhmannian position and we avoid confusions with those systemic positions which the author has differentiated itself; and second, we establish its contribution from a systemic program to the general problem of the unit of analysis of the discipline.
