In this section, we aim to analyse the diverse conflicts related to the tourist activity of the different Mapuche indigenous peoples organizations and communities in the so -called “Lake Corridor” in the Neuquén Province, Argentina. We will address the causes, dynamics, and effects of these conflicts and, at the same time, we will connect these processes with the particular view of all things “Mapuche” under tourist contexts from different public and private organizations, confronting the manner in which said presence is taken and redefined by the members of the organizations and communities of this native people.
